Fun at the Zoo......

So I really wanted to go to the zoo. There are so many baby animals right now that I thought that would make a zoo trip fun. We went first thing in the morning which was great because all the animals were awake. The baby elephant was born on Aug. 10th and was just brought out for the public to see on Sept. 11th so she is only 5 weeks old. I guess for the first month mom and baby get alone time to bond. We also got to place our vote for the name. We voted for Zuri which is the name that was voted for most. She is so cute and it was so fun to see. I have never seen so many babies at the zoo. The three baby tigers were fun to watch the mom kept laying on them and one would get so mad. All the animals were so much fun to watch, we had a great time.
